Dennis Carter

Dennis has covered higher education technology since April 2008, having interviewed some of the most recognized IT pros in U.S. colleges and universities. He’s always updating eCampus News with the latest in pressing ed-tech issues, such as the growing importance of social media on campus, protecting school networks, and harnessing technology that can be turned from a distraction to an asset for instructors and professors.

After graduating from the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism in 2005, Dennis got his start in education reporting at The Gazette newspapers in Laurel, Md., where he covered the Prince George’s County school district for two years.
