Empower Student Learning with Digital Portfolios – Cambridge

An interactive seminar which emphasizes the importance of having students curate and publish work to create their personal web presence, develop a better understanding of their digital footprint, and build a digital repository of their ongoing school products. Participants will also receive instruction on working with the best tools for setting up a digital portfolio.

The Flipped Classroom & Innovative Instruction – Cambridge

In this workshop, teachers will develop the skills to flip their own classrooms. Instructors will share tips and goals for flipped classroom implementation, examine strategies for finding content, and explore multimedia tools that allow teachers to create their own content.

Teaching Foreign Languages with Technology – Cambridge

The iPad Classroom – Los Angeles

In this seminar – which requires you to bring your own device – you will receive training in ways iPads can be used to consume content; lessons on what students and teachers can do with iPad; best practices for constructing innovative learning environments that leverage the digital content created by students and teachers; and tips for creating a connected classroom that expands beyond the walls of the school through collaborative projects, digital portfolios, blogs, and social media.

The Advanced iPad Classroom – Austin

Once you’ve mastered the basics, take this advanced course on iPad integration in the classroom. This intensive, hands on course covers advanced topics such as App Fluency, App Smashing, iTunes, iBooks, curation, and collaboration. Advanced workflow strategies will be covered as well as the creation of student portfolios, multi-app combination scenarios to create new multimedia content, and publishing content to the web.

Google Chromebook & The Google-Infused Classroom – Los Angeles

Do you know how to use Google Apps and Chromebooks? This seminar examines effective strategies  for using Chromebooks, the Chrome Browser, and Google Apps for Education in ways that deliver instruction more efficiently and enhance the student experience.
