Based on the findings of his Case Study, Eric  Hartman will speak to faculty and staff interested in getting the most out of in-class use of student response systems (clickers). This pedagogical workshop is intended for those who are new to clickers or looking for new ideas and best practices.  His ideas will provide tips and suggestions that can be used by anyone, including teachers, Media Lab Staff, adult educators, school staff and administrators.

• Learn how to easily implement i>clicker into your existing lessons and with any technology you already use including: any brand of interactive whiteboard, document cameras, and software applications like standardized tests, publisher test banks, PowerPoint, Word, or Keynote.
• Discover best practices for using clickers both across grade levels and specific to elementary, middle, and high school classes.
• Increase student engagement in your course and learn how to assign credit for student participation and performance.
• Overcome challenges and common pitfalls of using classroom technologies.
