The most important lever in student achievement is the effectiveness of teachers, administrators, and other support staff.   Knowing how to “adjust the lever” can be a challenge.  School district leaders today are asking themselves “What does an effective teacher look like?”  or “What processes can I put in place to motivate and retain the best and the brightest?”  Hillsborough County Public Schools in Florida is answering  these questions and addressing these challenges.  The result:  They are recent recipients of a $100M education grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  One of the key missions of the Gates Foundation is to improve the effectiveness of teachers.

Attend this webinar and hear first-hand how Hillsborough County Public Schools is tackling these critical issues that districts leaders are facing today.  Also, hear from Kathleen Fulton with NCTAF about how they’re calling upon policymakers and education leaders to provide every child in America with 21st century teaching.
