The class of 2030 and life-ready learning: The technology imperative

By the time that today’s 1st graders graduate, the world will be vastly different: Automation could have replaced up to 50 percent of existing jobs in the U.S. alone, the fastest growing occupations will require higher level cognitive skills, and 30 to 40 percent of jobs will require explicit social-emotional skills.

Students want greater choice and control over how they learn, so they can solve social and global challenges not yet imagined, and be ready to thrive in their personal and lives. They will be better prepared for their futures if they have a strong social and emotional foundation developed in a personalized learning environment.
