CUE’s resolution is as follows:
In recognition of the importance of the activities and services conducted by the regional California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) and Statewide Educational Technology Services (SETS), the CUE Inc. Board of Directors hereby passes a resolution to voice their support for the maintenance of funding of the regional California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) and Statewide Educational Technology Services (SETS) as a separate line item in the California
education budget, consistent with the documented success of CTAP and SETS as a cost-effective strategy for supporting the educational technology needs in our geographically diverse state.
CUE supports increasing funding and expansion of CTAP and the SETS to support needs related to the implementation of the Common Core State Standards and the related computer adaptive assessment system and the rapid increase in the use of online and blended learning and technology access by schools and students.
