How Active Learning Environments Help Students Engage in Content

Moderated by Kevin Hogan, eSchool News, Editor-at-Large

As technology continues to play a pivotal role in classrooms, many schools are turning to active learning environments to effectively use technology to help engage students in learning. Join us on September 29th as Remi Del Mar, senior product manager for K-12 projectors, Epson America, Inc., hosts a live Q&A with two school leaders. Mark Hess, principal of Mary Helen Guest Elementary School in Walled Lake, Michigan, and Chad Lewis, director of technology for Tampa Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida, will discuss immersive classrooms and how they are utilized in their schools. Attendees will hear two different perspectives as Mark provides insights on renovations this past summer that turned his classrooms into active learning environments, and Chad shares how his school has been utilizing active learning environments since 2013.
