The Department of Homeland Security is celebrating the 10th anniversary of National Cyber Security Month with planned events and areas of emphasis throughout October. [Editor’s note: This site is not actively maintained during the federal government shutdown.]

StaySafeOnline.org, from the National Cyber Security Alliance, has made its cyber security awareness resources, events, and efforts available during October.

A Platform For Good offers four compelling reasons why children should be online.

National Principals Month

Honor excellent principals this month on the National Principals Month site, and learn about how and why fellow school leaders are making a difference.

The National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals, co-sponsors of National Principals Month, have a variety of resources to support and celebrate school leaders.

Scenario Learning has made some of its bullying prevention resources available for free, including a course on cyberbullying.

Stomp Out Bullying has outlined anti-bullying activities and goals for each Monday in October.
