Hyland Software provides grant assistance to kick-start technology projects

CLEVELAND – September 9, 2009 – At a time when revenues aren’t growing, many organizations are looking for ways to drive out costs and inefficiencies. Because it’s proven to do exactly these things by better managing processes and the documents that go along with them, many are turning to enterprise content management (ECM) applications. But here’s the roadblock: budgets are tighter than ever, so how do these projects get funded? As a way to overcome this hurdle, Hyland Software has partnered with the Grants Office, a research company helping organizations find and obtain grant funding, to provide a free service that identifies and tracks available grant money to fund OnBase investments.

“Organizations are at a crossroads,” said Bill Priemer, chief operating officer for Hyland Software. “Their goal is to find ways to do more with less, but they can’t fund the necessary technology to make it happen. To make matters worse, they don’t always have the time or resources to track down grant funding. The free GOstream™ tool provides personalized grant information and updates, allowing organizations to quickly and easily locate possible funding sources for their OnBase investment. It’s an efficient and cost-effective way to secure a technology proven to bring fast, measurable savings. We’re confident organizations of all sizes and industries will benefit from this new service.”
