Carone Fitness will be a sponsor for the Virtual School Symposium 2009 (VSS) http://www.virtualschoolsymposium.org/. The Virtual School Symposium hosted by iNACOL, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning, is considered the premier online learning conference for the k-12 industry. This year the conference will be held in Austin, TX, Nov 15-17th. iNACOL expects “more than 1200 representatives from national, state, district, private and other virtual school programs”.
Carone Fitness director and member of the symposium’s planning committee, Katie Carone, says, “Every year the conference is phenomenal, and this year participants should expect nothing less. Online learning continues to grow and gain support as a viable alternative for education. This conference is the best place to discover the latest and greatest initiatives and products available for online learning.”
Carone Fitness, www.caronefitness.com, offers online health and PE courses for grades 6-12–something that, to many, is considered a unique offering. Representatives from Carone Fitness have attended, presented, and exhibited at VSS for the past five years. This year, in addition to exhibiting, Carone Fitness is also sponsoring the conference as a topaz level sponsor. Carone Fitness will also be presenting a session entitled, “Online PE? How does that work?”.
