Carlie Christine might have been Playboy’s Cyber Girl of the Week in February, but she’s no longer the cheerleading coach of Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, Calif., reports the Sacramento Bee: Her short tenure at the school ended after some parents alerted school officials to semi-nude photos of Christine from the Playboy web site. San Juan Unified School District spokesman Trent Allen said she had been hired in February and was paid a stipend to be the cheerleading squad’s coach, but is no longer employed by the district. District officials would not say whether Christine was fired for posing for the photos, citing personnel confidentiality. The flap over the photos began when parents of some cheerleading hopefuls brought the material to the attention of administrators. The incident forced school officials to postpone cheerleading tryouts last week. Ann Buell, a mother of two student athletes, said the coach offered the wrong message at a time when more and more nude photos of teenagers are finding their way to web sites.
