Two Tennessee school boards have been mandated to unblock online access to web sites containing information about LGBT issues, reports The Advocate. Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and Knox County Schools have agreed to a settlement, after a case was filed on May 19 in the U.S. district court. The suit was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of three students in Nashville, one student in Knoxville, and Knoxville’s high school librarian, who also serves as the adviser to the school’s gay-straight alliance…(Read "Schools in two states unblock LGBT sites.")
