The latest release of Camtasia Relay provides users with the flexibility to integrate with their operating system of choice, enhances and simplifies the sharing of their captured lectures, and improves user and profile management for IT staff. In addition to supporting Snow Leopard and Windows 7 operating systems, new features in Camtasia Relay 1.2 include:
- The addition of publishing using WebDAV opens access to more media servers such as Microsoft Sharepoint.
- Improved Real Media outputs.
- Smaller MP4 file sizes for easier and quicker file transfers.
- Enhanced LDAP integration for simple use and better integration with more LDAP directories.
Camtasia Relay is designed so instructors and presenters can easily record live lectures, learning objects, training content, or presentations and publish them automatically so the videos are available in multiple formats, including for Web and portable media devices, to meet the needs of a broad audience. Users can also edit their captured lectures and presentations with Camtasia Studio, which is already used by thousands in the business and education communities.
With Camtasia Relay, instructors and presenters can use any PC or Mac in the classroom or conference room, at their desk, or at home.
