Wisconsin labor battle heats up on YouTube


Lines are being drawn not only in Wisconsin, but in other states as well.

National newspapers, television, and radio stations aren’t the only places where the Wisconsin labor conflict is playing out; now, both sides have taken to YouTube with ad campaigns to get their voices heard.

In a video ad sponsored by The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama 2012, proponents of Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s attempts to end collective bargaining for teachers and many other public-sector employees say it’s President Obama and unions like those in Wisconsin that are putting the country in debt—and it’s time to move toward “fiscal sanity”:

In a video sponsored by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America, individuals say it’s their livelihood that is being taken away and given to large corporations:
