Tentative deal for teachers union, Pa. archdiocese

Negotiators for Philadelphia’s lay Catholic school teachers and the archdiocese said Sunday that they have reached a tentative agreement for a new contract that could end the two-week-long teachers’ strike over issues of job security and working conditions, the Associated Press reports.
