It’s important to remember that digital learning doesn’t just happen in a classroom full of students–it applies to professional learning, online learning for teachers and students, and blended or hybrid learning.

1. Sumopaint, an online photo editor and painting application, lets users edit and create their own images, and they can also remix existing shared images.
2. With the CTQ Collaboratory, interact with experienced teachers across the country and share tools, tips, and lessons. Educators also can use this as an incubator to build new content for students.
3. Check out Memarden–what would you do with an interactive multimedia lesson you can create in under 5 minutes, which is automatically converted into games and activities?
4. The National WWI Museum and Memorial is striving to expand the narrative about the war by providing teachers with free materials about the enduring impact of WWI on modern times. The museum’s extensive resources, available to both educators and their students, can be easily accessed via a digital Education Database. The collection includes curriculum guidance and supporting materials, such as lesson plans, articles, videos, classwork documents and more.
5. Digital Learning Day’s suggested lessons include how to create presentations, write adventure stories, help students understand their digital footprints, bring TED-Ed to your district, and more.
