Turning Technologies Establishes Turning Foundation to Support School Improvement Efforts


 

Youngstown, OH – Today Turning Technologies, LLC, a leader in the student response industry, announce that it has established the Turning Foundation, a separate non-profit 501(c)3 organization. One of the main functions of the foundation is to help educational organizations find and secure the resources necessary to help classrooms, schools, and districts with their school improvement efforts. 
" In these difficult times when there are more priorities than resources to go around, the Turning Foundation is here to help connect educators to potential funding sources and help secure those resources for positive impacts on student learning,” stated Turning Foundation Direction, John Wilson.
The Turning Foundation will work in a number of ways to help find and secure funding resources for educators.  Fundraising and grant efforts will focus on targeted giving programs.  However, most organizations will be able to benefit from The Turning Foundation’s key outreach and support services including the following:
·         Facilitate the development of a school improvement plans
·         Identify potential resources to support school improvement plans – matching needs with potential funders, including foundations and corporations
·         Facilitate conversations among funders in an effort to "bundle" multiple resources to support the cost of the overall plan
·         Assist organizations with the funding application process
·         Provide specific research and language to support funding applications
·         Review and provide feedback to funding applications prior to submission
·         Assist with implementation, start up, evaluation, and grant reporting as needed
