The Princeton Review® Offers the Knowledge to Get Accepted
to College with Free ‘Getting In’ Events

Free PSAT Practice Tests and College Admissions Workshops Take Place
September 26th and October 3rd

New York, NY Sept. 9, 2009 – For high school students, this fall will mark the beginning of the extensive college admissions process. To help students and parents start the college search early and overcome any related anxiety, The Princeton Review is offering free PSAT practice tests and valuable college admissions workshops from Saturday, Sept. 26 to Saturday, Oct. 3 at locations nationwide.

PSAT Practice Test
The Princeton Review is offering free, full-length proctored PSAT practice tests complete with detailed score analysis. According to the College Board’s recent disclosure of national SAT scores, students who took the PSAT scored 121 points higher on the SAT than those who did not.

One of the first steps a student takes to become college-ready is to prepare for the PSAT. It’s a great indicator of what it’s like to take a high-stakes test without the pressure or having to pay registration fees. More importantly, the PSAT will help students understand their strengths and weaknesses for the SAT, which is used by colleges for admissions and financial aid eligibility. PSAT scores are also used to determine qualification for National Merit Scholarships.

College Admissions Workshops
The Getting In workshops will reveal the secrets of the admissions process and provide answers to college-bound teens’ questions about finding, getting into and paying for college. Students will also learn about admissions myths, how to crack the SAT and ACT, and how to maximize their admissions potential.

Space is limited and reservations are required. To register for either event or learn more, visit PrincetonReview.com/GettingIn or call 800-2Review (800-273-8439).
