University of Richmond president named to advisory board to advance liberal education by maximizing technological efficiency
University of Richmond president Edward L. Ayers has been named to the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) Advisory Board.
The board includes 17 undergraduate education experts who will guide NITLE, a nonprofit organization that helps colleges and organizations use technology efficiently to improve education.
NITLE enhances technological efficiency by providing professional development, training, community building programs and online support.
Board members serve two-year terms.
Ayers, a historian of the American South, became Richmond’s president in 2007.
