Washington, DC (November 16, 2009) – Today the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) announced that Kari M. Arfstrom will join the association as its new Chief Membership and Marketing Officer. Arfstrom most recently served as Vice President of Development, Marketing and Public Policy, as well as Acting VP for Education Programs, for the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC), an organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota, that works with educators, students and communities to bring service-learning curriculum to classrooms and schools.
"CoSN is thrilled to welcome Kari to our team," said CoSN CEO Keith Krueger. "As her experience shows, Kari has been a leader in both the education and policy worlds for years. Her background and skill set make her an invaluable resource for CoSN and our members, and we look forward to the wealth of knowledge and expertise she brings to our organization."
