With Windows 8′s launch quickly approaching, Acer (2353) is not going to rest on its laurels and the company announced two new Windows 8 notebook series on Thursday, BGR News reports. The first is the Aspire M5 Series Ultrabook line with third-generation Intel (INTC) Core i5 processors and Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, HD 14-inch or 15.6-inch screens, 500GB hard drive and 20GB SSD, two USB 3.0 ports, backlit keyboards and 8-hour battery life. The only difference between the 14-inch and 15.6-inch Acer M5s is that the former has a 10-point multi-touch touchscreen and its body is cut from aluminum alloy, whereas the latter doesn’t have a touchscreen and is built from magnesium alloy. The Aspire M5 Series Ultrabooks will be sold exclusively at Best Buy in the U.S. beginning October 26th, and they’ll start at $699.99 (15.6-inch) and $799.99 (14-inch)…
