College Board markets midweek SAT testing to schools


The ACT college admissions test overtook the SAT for the first time as the most popular college admissions exam by a margin of a few thousand students, the Washington Post reports. The College Board, which owns the SAT, has been watching the ACT’s ascent for several years, and has taken some steps to try to reclaim its position.
