Education.com giving out $1 MM in free subscriptions to schools

Free subscriptions to resources, including Brainzy, for Title I schools until September

education-freeIn honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Education.com is providing $1 million worth of free subscriptions for Education.com Pro, which also includes access to Brainzy, an early math and reading program. The no-charge access is available to any eligible teacher at a Title 1 school.

The Education.com Pro donation will provide unlimited access to the Education.com platform, including more than 20,000 worksheets in all subjects, the Brainzy Math and Reading Program for younger students, over 5,000 learning activities and science projects, the ability for teachers create custom worksheets for their classes, plus soon-to-be-released lesson plans.

“At Education.com we encounter countless teachers who work tirelessly to ensure their students receive the best education possible, but we understand that a lack of resources in some schools can be a barrier to success,” says Rich Yang, Co-CEO of Education.com. “By offering $1 million worth of subscriptions, we want to support teachers in underserved communities and help them by providing high quality educational resources to their students.”

According to the company, one in four teachers in the U.S. access the site, and it gained more than five million members in 2014. The offer is good until September 1 by visiting www.education.com/give.
