School resources and a field trip in time for Earth Day
In recognition of Earth Day (April 22), Discovery Education is hosting a virtual field trip and offering additional multimedia resources on climate, geography, and biology.
On Thursday, April 23, Discovery Education and the Nutrients for Life Foundation will host the live virtual field trip, called “Live From the Farm-Technology, Soil Science and More” for students nationwide. Designed to give middle school students a deeper understanding of the important role science and soil nutrients play in agriculture, this virtual event will explore the connections between nutrients, plants and crops, and provide a real-world look at the various critical thinking skills, technologies and scientific practices used during the harvest and planting seasons.
Additionally, Discovery Education is offering a variety of Earth Day-related activities available through Discovery Education Streaming and Discovery Education Science Techbook.
