Funding for community projects

This program aims to discover five inspiring people 45 and over with ideas to improve their communities. Each winner will receive $5,000 and resources and support from the Encore.org community to put his or her idea into action. Submissions for the Launch Pad must be a new idea or in the beginning phases of implementation (less than two years old) for solving a community, national or international problem. Applicants should be able to demonstrate some combination of training and experience that would qualify them to successfully carry out the proposed idea. Finalists must be willing to participate in future promotions and potentially take a spokesperson role within Encore Careers.
