About The Polly Clarke Award
Excellence in school library media programs can only be achieved through the combined and persistent efforts of school administrators, professional media personnel, and classroom teachers. For this reason the Oklahoma Association of School Library Media Specialists (OASLMS) Polly Clarke Award is, if merited, given annually to honor an Oklahoma school library media specialist who has been instrumental in the establishment of an exemplary library media program which serves the instructional needs of teachers, students, and administrators. This award will not necessarily be presented annually.
