MONTREAL and CHICAGO — Oct. 20, 2009 — In a move that strengthens HaiVision Network Video’s presence across the U.S., the company has appointed Scott Katzenoff as vice president of U.S. commercial sales and named three new regional sales directors based in Texas, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. This significant expansion of the U.S. sales force is a direct response to the rapid adoption of HaiVision solutions nationwide in the medical, education, and enterprise video markets.
"Due to HaiVision’s unmistakable position within the medical, education, enterprise, and government segments, we have doubled the size of our sales force in the U.S. over the past year," said Mirko Wicha, president and CEO at HaiVision Network Video. "Our channel and systems integration partners are experiencing tremendous success with our technology because our product performance and features are exactly what today’s institutions are demanding."
Katzenoff is a veteran of the video industry and has a solid track record enabling channel partners and system integrators with the latest technology solutions. Over the past three years, he has built HaiVision’s presence in the Eastern U.S., and today he leads HaiVision’s commercial U.S. sales team with a focus on expanding the company’s partner base in all segments across the country.
HaiVision continues to increase its broad sales coverage in the U.S. through the addition of three new regional sales directors: Allan Leon, formerly principal of Creative Media Products, who serves the Southeast from Chapel Hill, N.C.; Todd Mapes, formerly vice president of sales with Ripcode and Wire One, who serves the Southwest from Dallas; and Dan Wabiszewski, formerly with Sonic Foundry and AMD MediaPointe, who serves the Midwest from Madison, Wis.
HaiVision’s innovative product offering focuses on high-performance video distribution and video compression technology. The company offers the first and only end-to-end video distribution solution to incorporate military-grade encryption, 1080p60 resolution, less than 70ms latency, and numerous other unique features that differentiate HaiVision solutions within the high-growth IP video market.
