New York, NY (December 6, 2021)  – EdTech startup YaizY, an online platform with a wide range of curated courses in advanced digital subjects for kids, announced today a $2.1M seed round with total funding nearing $3 million. The live online education platform allows 8-to-17-year-olds to develop and refine future-proof skills in areas such as innovation, leadership, design, and multimedia arts will use the funds to expedite YaizY’s expansion in the US, further grow the customer base in UK and Israel, increase development of the live education platform and support the launch of fun, yet rigorous courses for students to learn from for years to come.

The investment is coming from LearnStart, Flyer One Ventures,, Angelsdeck, A.Partners, Vesdar Capital, and ALFIN. This is YaizY’s second investment round after the initial $800,000 equity round closed in January 2021.

Founded by a global team of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and professionally trained, award-winning educators with decades of international experience, YaizY rapidly expanded to the US late last year. As YaizY bridges the gap between today’s traditional educational system and what’s needed to succeed in the job market of tomorrow, the platform has experienced 500% growth in the number of active paying students from May 2020 to May 2021, earning the trust of the 4,000+ families who trust the Yaizy philosophy and are continuing to invest in their child’s future. To date, more than 15,000 students have attended YaizY’s seminars and workshops with year-over-year revenue growth up 450%.

The Yaizy team led by CEO Vitaly Gordon is on a mission to become the most trusted online learning platform inspiring students to turn their passions into professions. Prior to Yaizy, at the age of 17 Gordon was an SAT teacher and director of instructional materials at Kaplan, co-founded two successful businesses, was the first international partner of Algorithmics, and a partner at McKinsey for 7 years. COO of YaizY, Lasha Bokuchava spent 4 years as a Consultant at McKinsey, bringing significant experience in customer value management and digital analytics to the company. YaizY’s CMO Evgeniy Roshchupkin combines a traditional marketing skill set with digital product, gaming & entertainment expertise, leading teams at Viber, Red Bull, and Mail.Ru.

“We believe that each and every kid has individual passions and our role as parents and educators is to ignite these passions, and help them navigate the skills needed towards their true calling,” says Vitaly Gordon, CEO and Co-founder of YaizY.“Our focus is on motivating children to develop a growth mindset, acquire the advanced skills needed, and jumpstart their journey to becoming the next generation of innovators, designers and thought leaders.”

“YaizY’s entry into the U.S. is a testament to how students around the world are gravitating to this exciting new platform. It’s not easy to stick out in the crowded EdTech sector, and we believe YaizY is poised to quickly become an industry leader in the North American market,” says Don Burton, CEO of LearnStart. “YaizY’s unique platform and course offerings open up a whole new world for kids to explore their passions, while filling the gap between learning traditional subjects and 21st-century skills.”

The YaizY platform has demonstrated that 85% of children complete the courses from start to finish, in contrast to the average online course that is completed by only 15% of students. Each course consists of 20 lessons once per week, 90 minutes long, and led by highly skilled tutors with interactive practice and activities directly on the platform.
