4 new projectors, plus immersive digital dome environment
Optoma is showcasing new and top-selling ProAV projection products in a variety of creative applications at InfoComm 2016. From dome and arch displays to interactivity and edge blending, the company is focused on providing innovative solutions with maximum flexibility for the ProAV market.
In partnership with OmniSpace, a provider of immersive digital dome environments, Optoma is showcasing a 16-foot, 360-degree video dome, powered by four Optoma EH503 1080p projectors using a 0.8:1 short throw lens with full lens shift. This unique and scalable visual experience is suited for a variety of small and large venue applications including theaters, experiential advertising, corporate events, gaming, concerts, simulation, education, planetariums, virtual reality and more.
In addition, the company is featuring four new solid state illumination (SSI) laser phosphor projectors ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 lumens, and providing ultra-reliable, image-rich solutions for everything from digital signage to a variety of small and medium-sized venues:
- The new Optoma ZU510T will be one of the only WUXGA DLP projectors in the 4,000 to 6,000 lumen range currently in market, filling a need in the mid-range ProAV category. This 1920 x 1200 resolution, 5,500 lumen laser phosphor projector, featuring a fixed lens with horizontal and vertical lens shift, can be seen in the Optoma booth displaying a mapping demo onto an audio spectrum bar alongside the Optoma NuForce DDA-120 digital amp for the highest quality sound.
- As the world’s first DLP 4K laser phosphor ultra short throw (UST) projector, Optoma is unveiling its new 0.18 UST, 3,300 lumen 4K projector which can display a 100-inch image from just two inches away from a wall or screen. It is an entirely new class of reliable, high resolution, and ultra short throw projectors that are ideally suited for digital signage and home theater use. With this projector, Optoma is combining multiple cutting-edge technologies – 4K resolution, laser lighting, and ultra-short throw – into one dynamic package.
- Optoma is also showcasing a 1-chip DLP 4K lamp-based projector. Featuring 4,500 lumens, it is suited for professional venues ranging from large conference rooms, simulation, control rooms, lecture rooms, and health care training centers.
- And finally, Optoma is showing a unique collaboration demonstration featuring an ultra-wide laser phosphor projector with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This technology display will be fully interactive, with multiple applications running simultaneously, and moveable images via touch.
Also on display will be other leading Optoma projectors in a variety of creative applications:
- A blended arch featuring four Optoma WU1500 projectors will display approximately 7,000 on-screen pixels and incorporate two Optoma GB-200s for blending and warping. The dual lamp, 12,000 lumen WUXGA projector is designed for a variety of demanding professional applications, from auditoriums and houses of worship, to stage shows and theaters
- An interactive blending demo features the Optoma GB-200 processor with two high-brightness (4,000 lumens) and HD resolution (1920 x 1080) Optoma EH320USTi projectors – both unique attributes for an interactive and ultra-short throw projector. This projector is ideal for boardrooms, classrooms and university auditoriums.
- 12,000 laser lumens of brightness are demonstrated with two stacked WUXGA (1920 x 1200) ZU650 laser projectors. The Optoma ZU650 was designed for superior image quality, with ease of installation and use in mind. The projector is lightweight, quiet and contains 360-degree and portrait mode operation. It is equipped with HDBaseT and five different optional lenses to give users a wide range of options to achieve the best image.
- A corporate digital signage display features the Optoma EH515T, the most popular projector in the company’s ProScene series. Designed for professional installation environments, it boasts a brightness of 5,500 lumens and features multiple digital connection options, with two HDMI inputs, DisplayPort and HDBaseT.
