hoopla digital announced a new licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, to bring a wealth of celebrated titles to participating public libraries across the U.S. and Canada. The deal adds Sesame Street eBooks, e-comic books and TV episodes to hoopla digital’s current offering of more than 600,000 eBooks, audiobooks, comics, movies, music, television shows and more. ClassLink announced a new single sign-on connection to Edmodo, the free online classroom management platform used by tens of millions of educators worldwide. This relationship will provide millions of educators and students with secure, OneClick access to Edmodo, enabling faster, easier access to one of education’s most widely-used technologies.
